Adult Baseball in the Flathead Valley
The Flathead Valley is baseball country. After years with nowhere for grown men to play real, competitive hardball, the Flathead Adult Men’s Baseball League (FAMBL) gives players across the valley a home — wood bats, nine innings, two umpires, all summer long. Whether you’re in Kalispell, Columbia Falls, Whitefish, or beyond, there’s a spot for you.
Who plays — and where they come from
More than 60 players, ranging from 18-year-olds to guys in their 70s, make up the league — and they come from all over Northwest Montana. Players drive in from Kalispell, Columbia Falls, Bigfork, Lakeside, and Eureka, with a few making the trip from as far as Missoula. Every skill level is welcome, from former college players to guys who hadn’t picked up a glove in years.
Where the games are
Home base is Memorial Field in Whitefish — a classic ballpark right in town. As the league grows, we’re adding more fields and game times across the valley, so the current slate always lives on our live schedule. For most of the valley, it’s a short drive:
| Town | Approx. drive to Memorial Field |
|---|---|
| Whitefish | Home field |
| Columbia Falls | ~15 minutes |
| Kalispell | ~25 minutes |
| Bigfork | ~45 minutes |
| Lakeside | ~45 minutes |
| Eureka | ~1 hour |
Two ways to play
For guys who want a guaranteed roster spot all summer (and eligibility for MSBL/MABL national tournaments), full-season registration is your best path.
When the season runs
In 2026, the league plays a 12-game season plus playoffs, mostly on weekends from mid-May into August. Games are nine innings, two umpires, wood bats — the real thing. Check the schedule any time for current dates and locations.
